Chris and Janet are doing a sponsored bike from Lands End to John O Groats.

Proceeds will go towards The King George's Field fund, which helps to keep the pool going.

A big thank you to everyone who attended or contributed and made the day a success.
Special thanks to all the cake bakers, soup makers and volunteers who sold them. Middleton's Dairies for providing milk. Hathersage Swimming club for events in the pool and Hathersage Beavers for the games on the Hard Play Area. George Illidge for a successful football tournament and Dave Prior for an entertaining Aqua Fit session. Extra thanks to the musicians for playing in difficult conditions. The Film Club showing of sing-along Mamma Mia made a fitting finale to a fun day. Last but not least thanks to the Lifeguards.
